New Update (August '10)

Dear MixDotExe Friends/Family/Fans,

- Plans -

Here at Mix.Exe we have a lot of plans upcoming in the next 2 months, but first to put it down for now Paul Elsewho will be releasing a new mixtape - one that he's been putting much effort for. Our fellow homie from Garage Party, DJ A'Flex will be releasing a new Rock mixtape as well. We also have plans for Dangerous Stranger. As for myself, BasicBlink, I am currently working on some crazy productions and planning to release a HUGE LP/Mixtape in the near future - I'll be a Dr. Dre Jr. (I won't take 10 years btw. just give me like 3 mo.) and work toward the quality for now. On top of these, we will continue to pump out more RB issues (Radio.Broadcast) as well as more Funktionology issues.

- The Story So Far -

To be very honest, we really do not have any resources or funding to even consider such projects so we compensate by doing it ourselves - from the music prod.'s, art work, web-design, marketing, etc. We don't even have people from the higher-ups even giving us hints to where we should go, all we have is living day by day trying to find ways to get 'there'. At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, it's all for the fun and love of just making the music projects itself.

This web-site has proven to be our only way to express our intelligence in music as of lately. Even though we are poor as fuck and continue to strive for better days as musicians, We work everyday to try to see light in careers in music. Hopefully the ideals of putting effort and sacrifice can pay off and bring us closer to goals and dreams.
