Angolan Kuduro!!!

It's no surprise by now, that we will be consistently churning out some fun/quality remixes. Basic's got a banger release coming real soon. Mild's gonna be working with me making a few concept designs and possibly video podcasts. I'm working on videogame music art piece. Woah, nuts.

But here's a small surprise to break away from the norm.




I'm proud to announce that I'm going to put out our first int'l remix. It's a track called Ze Bula and it's straight up Angolan Kuduro. If you're not familiar I can school you right now with pop kuduro, like video above. It has a Happy/Hard disco sound with rappers who slur every one of their lines like Clipse. They really mean it too. Anyways get familiar, because once I'm done mastering the tune, it's getting a proper release here and on the Mad Decent (linked below via image) kuduro contest. So please get ready to vote mix.exe to the top!

If you haven't come across Mix.Exe's (Mix Dot E.X.E.) first and official mixtape, we re-upped it just for you. It includes booty bass music with a twist (original remixes from Mix.Exe). X:\run booty bounce_ is Paul Elsewho's and BasicBlink's first production that came to fruition. We took much time and effort on this mixtape and was our first attemp to figure out a new culture in music. We hope you enjoy this piece as we continue to work and bring more content on the way.

Site Update

The crew has been growing over the past week. We gained more numbers in networks and buisness has been at a steady pace. We welcome J.Tibon to the fam, as he will be updating you on news and other topics as he goes along with us. We also plan for another spot for a blogger. Having two more people blogging can help us become way more flixible and creative.

In other news, my 'EyeDrops' Extended Play (EP) is about 75 percent done. The CD will release no later than October, but If all goes well planned, maybe even before then. It'll be free of cost, but if you are out of state or simply want one but don't know me that well, I will be sending them out by mail, (i'm thinking of using paypal for you to transfer shipping funds)

I've also been working with various Hip Hop artists from So-Cal. Mad respect to them (Pheo, FlipMajor, Carolina West). It's surprising to me how the funk/house/club side of me has really brought me back to my hip hop roots, (I miss my MPC).
